We are very pleased to share that Reesha Arshad of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), a consortium member of the LoCEL-H2 Project has recently published a paper titled:.

‘How much improvement in energy access is needed to address climate vulnerabilities in socio-economic sectors of Pakistan?’

The study explores how enhancing energy access can reduce climate vulnerability across Pakistan’s socio-economic sectors. It shows that improving access, particularly for under-served communities, can significantly strengthen resilience to climate risks and that equitable, affordable energy provision is essential for effective adaptation.

The social and economic dimensions of the LoCEL-H2 Project are equally as important as the technical aspects and a fundimental part of the investigation. We are very glad to see progress being made in this area and look forward to more updates!
