Field Diaries mini magazine – Issue 1
LoCEL-H2 is developing a new energy solution to be implemented in two remote, off-grid communities in Africa.
Field work is an essential part of LoCEL-H2. Hearing from people living in remote areas allows us to understand better their energy needs and tailor our technology accordingly, while creating a favourable ecosystem to maximise knowledge transfer, capability creation, and social change.
We want to show you this important part of the development of our project with our new Field Diaries initiative, a series of videos and publications telling you the stories from the field.
In this first issue of our digital mini magazine, read about the research journey in Pakistan where the teams of UNINA (Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II) and LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences) collaborated to learn from communities living in partially-electrified and fully off-grid villages in Pakistan.
