The LoCEL-H₂ Project is proud to have been part of such an innovative and future-focused event. It was encouraging to see the European Commission‘s priorities closely reflect our mission to deliver sustainable hydrogen-based energy solutions to remote regions.

Dr Carl Telford describes the highlights of the event, including a plenary session by Selwin Hart, Special Adviser and Assistant Secretary-General for Climate Action of the United Nations; and EU Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra’s keynote, which illustrated five pillars essential to achieving Europe’s energy goals:

🔋 Development of all types of energy storage solutions
🔀 Smart management of distribution infrastructure

These themes echo the core of our work at LoCEL-H₂. From promoting energy autonomy through innovative storage systems to generation of renewable hydrogen, the call for 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 resonated strongly with our team.
