LoCEL-H2 Project at the APPG on Hydrogen Business Fair
We are pleased to share that Dr Elizabeth Ashton and Dr Carl Telford will be showcasing the technology behind the LoCEL-H2 Project at the upcoming All-Party Parliamentary Group on Hydrogen’s Business Fair at Westminster next week.
The lead battery-electrolyser system developed at Loughborough University as part of the project will see four pilot sites operational by 2026, each capable of producing 10.42 kWh of energy with 99% green hydrogen purity. Three of these sites will be based in Africa as part of LoCEL-H2 Project and sister-project MESCH, and one will be located in the UK at Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park, supported by East Midlands Freeport.

Chaired by Dr. Jeevun Sandher MP, this event aims to bring together teams directly involved in the transition towards net zero to highlight how hydrogen is powering clean growth.
