We are very pleased to share that Reesha Arshad<\/a> of the Lahore University of Management Sciences<\/a> (LUMS), a consortium member of the LoCEL-H2 Project<\/a> has recently published a paper titled:.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

‘How much improvement in energy access is needed to address climate vulnerabilities in socio-economic sectors of Pakistan?’<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

The study explores how enhancing energy access can reduce climate vulnerability across Pakistan\u2019s socio-economic sectors. It shows that improving access, particularly for under-served communities, can significantly strengthen resilience to climate risks and that equitable, affordable energy provision is essential for effective adaptation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

The social and economic dimensions of the LoCEL-H2 Project<\/a> are equally as important as the technical aspects and a fundimental part of the investigation. We are very glad to see progress being made in this area and look forward to more updates!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
