\ud83c\udf89 We\u2019re thrilled to announce that the technology behind our sister project, MESCH<\/a>, lead by the team at Loughborough University<\/a>, has won the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Smart Grid (icSmartGrid)<\/a> 2025!

\ud83d\udd0b The paper, titled ‘Designing and Integrating a Battery-electrolyser Energy System for Communities in Sub-Saharan Africa<\/strong>‘, highlights the technical developments both the MESCH<\/a> and LoCEL-H2 Project<\/a> in deploying battery-electrolyser micro-grid systems in off-grid communities.

\ud83c\udfc6 This award recognises the whole team’s hard work in advancing these technologies and showcasing the potential of hydrogen to support off-grid communities.
