LoCEL-H2 Project Team at the Cenex Expo
The LoCEL-H2 Project team had a fantastic visit to Cenex Expo last week! The exhibition was a brilliant opportunity to explore the latest developments in Connected and Autonomous Mobility (CAM), clean transportation, and the journey to net zero.
Dr. Paul Holland, Professor of hydrogen metrology at Loughborough University, summarised the event: ‘It was great to attend the Cenex Expo and see the latest innovation in hydrogen and low carbon vehicles. We took a battery electrolyser cell and it was great to network with people and share our progress with projects at Loughborough University’.
Key discussions at the expo focused on regulatory next steps, infrastructure challenges, and emerging use cases shaping the future of transport.

Dr. Elizabeth Ashton, a key member of the LoCEL-H2 Project team, added: ‘I always enjoy going to the Cenex Expo, catching up with people and seeing the latest hydrogen vehicles. Lots of people came and asked us about the battery electrolyser who have been following our progress of the LoCEL-H2 project’.
Themes of the Cenex Expo directly relate to the LoCEL-H2 Project mission to develop clean, reliable hydrogen energy solutions with a wide variety of future applications. The event provided valuable insights into the future of clean, carbon-neutral mobility in the UK and worldwide, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
